Kyarah Bautista is a paralegal for McLaughlin & Nardi, LLC. Kyarah is a graduate from Montclair Sate University where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Justice Studies with a concentration in Justice Systems & Paralegal Studies, and a minor in Justice & Families. Kyarah also completed the Paralegal Certification Program at Montclair State University. By maintaining over a 3.9 within her paralegal courses, Kyarah serves as an inducted member of Lambda Epsilon Chi, the National Paralegal Honor Society. Overall, Kyarah has achieved deans list honors continuously throughout her tenure at Montclair since 2014, leading her to graduate with cum laude honors. During her time as an undergraduate, she also served as the President of the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Honor Society, was Vice President of the Petey Greene Program, as well as Vice President for her sorority, Lambda Theta Alpha. Starting in her sophomore year, she tutored, inmates, at Northern State Prison to help them in attain their GED while incarcerated.
In 2016-2017, Kyarah worked part-time as an advocate for the Youth Advocate Program at Montclair State University, where she assisted at risk youths with support and advocacy and mentor them to help them stay on the right path. Activities with each youth and family included case management, crisis intervention services offered 24/7, and educational and vocational work. While doing all this, Kyarah began working at the law firm of McLaughlin & Nardi as a law clerk since May of 2016.
She will continue working for the law firm of McLaughlin & Nardi, as she prepares to apply for law schools. It is difficult to stand under the weight of all that Kyarah has accomplished. She is an invaluable member of the team.
